The emancipation of the immaterial.
Drawing from influences of Midwestern America, Robert maintains the idea of living from the earth. He champions that quality of living and aesthetic should never be compromised when making items for personal use.
As a personal and professional chef, he found that waste is inherent in the human existence. Taking the frugal nature of a chef and applying it to his art, he is able to create items for functionality and statement. He states that the things we do not need are what we are bound to want. Robert wishes to change that into the things we need are the things we want.
Currently, he is exploring more ceramics work at his home studio in Rhode Island as well as pursuing a degree in Industrial Design.
